Music Mayhem – Sounds of the 60’s

On 1st July Swanley Therapy Centre was very grateful to be the beneficiary at the most recent Music Mayhem event, this time featuring 60’s music, which was held at Bexleyheath Golf Club.

Music Mayhem is an event run once or twice a year which aims to showcase local talent as well as to raise funds for the Centre.

Up first was RANSAK from Bexleyheath playing songs such as Day Dream Believer and Whiter Shade of Pale. Next up was Calli Malpas from Kent, singer and lead vocalist for band OCD, and Adrian Benn, singer and guitar player from London (both pictured above). After singing individually Calli and Adrian then duetted the song Proud Mary together which you can see on Calli’s Facebook page.

Last up was the band Hard To Handle, a classic rock and blues cover band from South London and Kent, who sung along with actress, singer and dancer Marie McGonigle and Brian Cushing who also accompanied on harmonica.

Thanks to all who came and supported the Centre. Also many thanks to all the acts for continuing to support the Centre and who again took part in the evening for free. Also many thanks to Eddie Oates and his helpers for organising the event.
