🚴‍♀️ Meet Our Fundraising Superstars
– Ryan & Ellie! 🚲

We are excited to introduce you to Ryan and Ellie – two everyday heroes taking on an extraordinary challenge this summer to raise funds for Swanley Therapy Centre.

Starting on 8th June 2025, Ryan and Ellie will cycle the entire length of the UK – from the cliffs of Land’s End in Cornwall to the tip of John o’ Groats in Scotland. That’s over 1,000 miles in just 10 days – battling hills, weather, sore legs and a whole lot of snacks along the way!

Why are they doing it? Because they believe in what we do. Ryan’s dad has been supported by the therapies we offer, and they’ve seen first-hand how oxygen therapy  can change lives. Their goal is to raise funds so we can keep providing subsidised sessions for people with MS, Long Covid, chronic pain, and other conditions.

They’ve called themselves The Terrible Triathletes, but don’t let the name fool you – their dedication, spirit, and sense of humour are truly inspiring. 💪

Every penny raised will go straight to supporting the people who walk through our doors each week, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have Ryan and Ellie flying the flag for Swanley Therapy Centre.

Let’s show them how much love and support this amazing community can give! 💙

☀️ Summer Fete 2025 – Save the Date! 😎

A college of photos from last year's Summer Fete including photos of volunteers, Morris dancers, competitions and cake.

Saturday 14th June | 2:00–5:00pm

The countdown is on! With just a month to go until our Summer Fete, we’re full steam ahead with planning – and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether you can donate, come along, or lend a hand, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

🎁 Donate Some Goodies:
We’re on the lookout for donations to help make our raffle and tombola stalls shine. If you’ve got unopened, in-date bottles of wine or spiritsboxes of chocolatesunwanted gifts, or would like to bake us a homemade cake – we’d be so grateful! Every item helps raise much-needed funds for the Centre.

🎟 Grab a Ticket (or Two):
Even if you can’t make it on the day, buying a ticket supports the cause – and enters you into our Door Draw for the chance to win some fab prizes!

🌭 Come Along & Join the Fun:
On the day, we’ve got loads lined up – stalls, games, tasty treats and more. It’s a great afternoon out, and even better when shared with friends and family. Fancy helping out? We’re always looking for volunteers to help run stalls and keep things running smoothly. Speak to a member of the team if you can spare a little time – we’d love to have you on board.

Our Summer Fete is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and it helps us keep therapy sessions as affordable as possible. So come for the fun, stay for the cause – and help us make this the best one yet!

Note: There will be no 12:45pm session on the day of the fete, as we’ll all be out enjoying the festivities. Hope to see you there!

💙 Can You Help Us Go Further? 💙

We know many of our supporters have connections far and wide – and today, we’re asking if you might be able to open a door for us.

Do you work for, or know someone at, a company that offers charity givingpayroll giving, or match funding? Lots of businesses support local causes by matching employee donations, sponsoring fundraising efforts, or offering grants to charities their staff care about. It’s a brilliant way to double the impact of a donation.

If you think your workplace might offer something like this, or you have a contact we could talk to, we’d love to hear from you. A quick introduction or a helpful tip could go a long way in supporting our work and keeping therapy costs low for those who need us most.

📩 Just drop us a message or speak to a member of the team – thank you for being part of our community!

It’s MS Awareness Week, and we’re right in the middle of sharing some insights into MS and its effects.

We’d love you to follow along on our social media – like, comment, share, or tag someone who might benefit from learning more. The more people who understand MS and the therapies available, the better. Let’s spread the word and keep the conversation going!
