We’ve got a few important updates to share with you this month, including news about our upcoming Summer Fete, a new style of oxygen masks now available, and a trial change to one of our Saturday sessions from June.

From June, we’ll be trialling a small change to our Saturday 12:45pm session. This session will move from 33 feet (2 ATA) to 24 feet (1.75 ATA).
The aim of this trial is to help us offer a better balance of session depths across the timetable, improving access and flexibility for members.
All session depths continue to provide therapeutic benefits, so the 24 feet session will remain a valuable option for those who usually attend this time.
This change is part of a trial period, and we will review the outcome at the end of the month.

We’re pleased to let you know we’ve recently updated our mask supplier and introduced a new style of oxygen masks at the Centre.
The new masks are designed to offer a comfortable fit and are now available at a reduced cost of £70 each, making them more affordable than our previous supplier.
If you’d like to purchase one of the new style masks, please speak to a member of the team during your visit and we’ll be happy to help.

A big thank you to everyone who has already donated towards our Summer Fete — we really appreciate all the bottles, gift sets, treats and other items that have been brought in so far.
We are still in need of donations, particularly bottles (wine and spirits), as well as gifts, vouchers and raffle prizes.
If you’re able to contribute, your support really helps make the event a success and raises vital funds for the Centre 💙

We’ve recently refreshed our MS information stand with a selection of new booklets kindly provided by MS-UK.
These cover a wide range of topics relating to multiple sclerosis, offering clear, helpful information for anyone looking to learn more or find additional support.
Feel free to take a look during your visit, or pick up any resources that may be useful to you or a loved one.

We’re currently looking for donations and raffle prizes for our upcoming Summer Fete, and we’d be incredibly grateful for any support local businesses may be able to offer 💙
We’re also welcoming interest from businesses who may like to sponsor the event — a great way to support a local charity while gaining positive visibility within the local community.
Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue providing subsidised therapy services to those who need them most.
If you’d like to get involved, donate, or sponsor our Summer Fete, please get in touch — we’d love to hear from you 😊

We have been asked to share information about an MS research study looking into the immune system and how it may contribute to multiple sclerosis.
The study aims to better understand why some people develop MS and how the disease progresses, by comparing immune cells from people living with MS to those without the condition.
Researchers are currently looking for people who are:
🔵 Recently diagnosed with MS, or
🔵 Not currently treated with medication (for at least 6 months), or
🔵 Receiving a disease modifying therapy
Participation involves a one-off 100mL blood donation.
