Summer has arrived and we’ve got lots of exciting updates to share from Swanley Therapy Centre.
Whether it’s celebrating fundraising achievements, buying raffle tickets, or preparing for our Summer Fete – there’s something for everyone this month.
🚴♂️ Incredible Fundraising: Ryan & Ellie Cycle the UK!
We’re sending out a huge WELL DONE to Ryan and Ellie – better known as The Terrible Triathletes – who recently completed a mammoth cycling challenge from Land’s End to John o’Groats!
That’s over 1,000 miles from the bottom of the UK to the top, powered by pure pedal power.
They took on this challenge to raise funds for the Centre, with Ryan riding in honour of his dad, who’s one of our regular oxygen therapy members. Together they’ve raised over £2,100, which will go a long way in helping us continue to offer affordable, life-enhancing therapies to those who need them.
Their determination and generosity are truly inspiring – thank you to Ryan, Ellie, and everyone who donated or supported them along the way!

🎉 A Huge Thank You to Swanley Town Council

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Swanley Therapy Centre has received a generous donation of £7,320.61 from Swanley Town Council.
This incredible support means the world to us and will directly help keep our therapy sessions accessible and affordable for those who need them most.
A special thank you goes to outgoing Mayor Rita Wood and her team, whose fundraising efforts throughout the past year made this possible. Your hard work, kindness and dedication to supporting local charities like ours truly makes a difference. From all of us here – thank you!
🎟️ Summer Raffle – Get Your Tickets Before the Draw
Our ever-popular Summer Raffle is back, and tickets are now on sale for just £1 each. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs this year, and every penny raised helps us keep our therapies accessible and affordable.

1st Prize: Swanley Park Family Activity Voucher – perfect for a fun-filled day out with the kids!
2nd Prize: £50 Ocado Voucher – treat yourself to a grocery top-up or something special.
3rd Prize: Sidcup Cinema Vouchers for Four – enjoy a trip to the movies on us!
You can buy tickets from the Centre reception or online. The raffle will be drawn on Thursday 31st July, and winners will be notified directly – you don’t need to be present to win.

🎪 Summer Fete – Sunday 20th July
We’re thrilled to invite you to our Summer Fete on Sunday 20th July! It’s going to be a fantastic day with stalls, games, food, a raffle, and a great chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones.
We’re currently preparing all the fun behind the scenes – and there’s still time to help!
🎁 We’re still in need of donations for our stalls, including:
New or nearly new gift items (think candles, mugs, games, accessories, etc.)
Bottles of any kind – wine, soft drinks, fizz – just make sure they’re sealed and in date
Chocolate – bars, boxes, anything sweet, sealed and in date!
All donations can be dropped off during our regular opening hours. Thank you so much to everyone who’s donated already!
🎫 Entry tickets for the fete are on sale now – and don’t forget, if you buy an entry ticket (even if you can’t attend on the day), you’ll be entered into the Food Hamper draw, taking place during the fete. So there’s still a chance to win something tasty even from afar!
If you’re free on the day and would like to help, we’re also looking for volunteers to help us run the fete – from setting up in the morning, to helping on stalls during the event, and packing down afterward. If you would like to lend a hand, we’d be thrilled to have you. Just pop your name down at reception or get in touch with the team!
