We are delighted to share some fantastic news at Swanley Therapy Centre.
Thanks to the incredible support of former Mayor Cllr Rita Wood, Swanley Town Council, and the local community, more than £7,300 was raised for our charity during her mayoral year.
This generous contribution has played a key role in helping us reach our £20,000 fundraising target for 2025.
Supporting Subsidised Therapies in Swanley
As a small local charity, Swanley Therapy Centre relies heavily on fundraising to cover essential running costs. Reaching our 2025 fundraising goal means we can continue to offer subsidised oxygen therapy and complementary therapies to our members, keeping sessions affordable for those who need them most.
Many people who attend the Centre live with long-term health conditions, chronic illness, injuries, or recovery needs. Fundraising like this allows us to keep our doors open and continue supporting our community week after week.

Throughout the year, Cllr Rita Wood and her team organised a wide range of community fundraising events, raising both vital funds and awareness of the work we do. The support extended far beyond donations — it strengthened relationships, increased local visibility, and reminded us how valued the Centre is within Swanley and the surrounding areas.
Reaching our £20,000 fundraising goal gives us stability and confidence as we move forward, ensuring we can continue delivering oxygen therapy and other supportive treatments in a welcoming, local environment.
While we are proud to have reached our £20,000 fundraising goal for 2025, the work doesn’t stop there! Fundraising for 2026 is already underway, as we continue raising vital funds to cover our ongoing running costs and keep therapies subsidised for our members.
