What a fantastic afternoon we had at our 2026 Summer Fete!
On Sunday 26th July, we welcomed members, families, friends and people from across our local community to The Old Vicarage in Swanley Village for an afternoon of games, food, prizes, laughter and fundraising.

There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, with old favourites and some new games making their debut this year.
Visitors could try their luck at Beat the Buzz, Bottle Tombola, Cornhole, the Gnome Hunt, Grab A Gift, Hook A Duck, Lucky Dip, Pick A Lolly, Play Your Cards Right and Spin the Wheel.
And, of course, there was our Summer Raffle, giving people the chance to win some fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses.
We also had delicious food from Chef Angelo’s Menu, an ice cream van and live entertainment from Recycled Jazz, making it a proper summer afternoon for everyone to enjoy.

We’re delighted to share that our current Summer Fete fundraising total stands at £2,143.42 — and it’s still increasing!
Every single pound raised will help Swanley Therapy Centre continue providing subsidised therapies and support to our members.
Fundraising events like our Summer Fete are incredibly important to us as a charity. They help us to keep our costs as low as possible and continue providing the services that our members rely on.

A huge thank you to all the local businesses who donated prizes, vouchers and other contributions, including Stanhill Farm, The Banana Garden, Rowhill Grange, Coolings Garden Centre, Birchwood Park Golf Course, Swanley Park and Asda Swanley, along with everyone else who donated or helped make the day possible.

Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Swanley Therapy Centre, and the Summer Fete was no exception.
From setting up and running games to selling raffle tickets, serving food, helping visitors and clearing everything away afterwards, there were lots of jobs to do — and our fantastic volunteers stepped up to make sure everything ran smoothly.
We really couldn’t have done it without you.
